Alik Ourfalian

Alik Ourfalian is an associate attorney at Ourfalian & Ourfalian. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism (cum laude) from California State University, Northridge. Thereafter, she attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in May 2018.

While at Loyola, Alik served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Victoria Gerard Chaney in the California State Court of Appeal, where she substantially drafted an appellate opinion that was later published. She also took part in Loyola’s International Human Rights Clinic, working with the prosecutor in the Cambodian genocide court and co-authoring a published manual outlining the rights of persons living with HIV/AIDS.

She was admitted to practice law in both California and Federal Courts in December 2018. After practicing for about two years, her interest in human rights and academia led Alik to continue her education and obtain a Master of Laws in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the famed American University Washington College of Law in May 2021.

Alik has worked at Ourfalian & Ourfalian in various capacities since September 2011. She contributes to the firm’s civil litigation and transactional practice. She is active in civic and community affairs and has held various leadership positions in community organizations.
